Abstract

This group project was set out to objectively debate and examine the relationship between humans and memory; neither positive nor negative. It debates the plasticity of our memories and the plausibility of manipulating them. The kinetic sculpture, mem-uh-ree[al], is an abstract interpretation of the human hippocampi. Lit up underneath UV-lights, the sculpture sparks imagination and wonder in the viewer, and furthermore invites them to take part in controlling the evolution of the artifact.
